Ametrine is a mixture of purple amethyst and yellow citrine. Created by the amount of iron in a quartz giving it the purple color and than amount of heat turning it yellow. Iron amounts and different Temperatures at formation give each ametrine its soft blend of Purple and yellow coloring.
